Hi Andy,

StLBooks has purchased stlbooks.com, which was previously owned by someone else. I want to make stlbooks.com the hosted domain, instead of stlbooksonline.com. (I'll redirect stlbooksonline.com to stlbooks.com.) I don't see how to change the hosting myself.

Can you do this? I've already updated the DNS at stlbooks.com to point to your Name Servers.

Thanks in advance!

Are you going to redirect the old domain at the registor level. There is a few dollars/month fee for an extra domain... it's not really disigned to be charged for something like this but it's an automaticed billing and I'd hate to have to remember to remove the charge every month.

I'll move everthing to the new domain saturday.

Yes, the old domain stlbooksonline.com will be redirected at the registrar, so you will only have to deal with one domain.

Thanks so much!

Ok... I'll make the change tonight.

You will get some emails about extra setup charges but ignore them... I will fix up the billing.

Andy

Thanks, Andy! I'll be looking forward to the switch over.

As you can see it didn't happen last night.  I had to pick up my new puppy because of her litter mates got sick and it was either pick her up then or wait a few days.

It'll happen tonight.

Nice looking puppy. Best wishes with her.

OK, I'm looking forward to the switch over tonight, then.

Thanks in advance!

Finally got it done.

I turned on php and set the default page to index.php.

I downloaded everything from the old and re-uploaded to the new.

You probably have some changes to make on wordpress.

The old one is still up and I'll delete it once you let me know everything is ok on the new.

Thanks so much, Andy. I noticed that I'm getting runtime errors from the store under the new domain, so if you can fix that, I'd really appreciate it. You can delete everything under the old domain stlbooksonline.com.

Thanks for the switch over.
