I configured the email address robert@4shadowsbooks.com to be redirected to my gmail address fourshadows.books@gmail.com. I don't even remember how to access it directly, have not done so in years.

I only use the domainname address for IOBA orders via Biblio (two Biblio accounts: one for Biblio itself using the gmail address, and one for Biblio-hosted books.ioba.org using the 4shadows.com address).

Today, received the following notice from Biblio that an email to robert@4shadowsbooks.com had bounced. Biblio was nice enough to forward the bounce notice to my other email address to make me aware.

It looks like the forwarded email does not delete it email from your 4showdows mailbox after you delete it.

You will have to log into your hosting control panel and delete the old messages. If there is not an easy why to delete them you can just delete the email account and re-add it.

Can you give me any clue about this?

I am able to log into goDaddy, but it says I have no email account through them, it must be through the host you're using.

I can't access that server from where I'm at right now.

You can also delete emails from the webmail screen:

webmail.4shadowsbooks.com

I think the user name is the full email address. Password is your email account password.

OK. I can get to there. On the Mail/Forwarding tab, it says, "If your mailbox is switched on under the General tab, then copies of e-mail messages will be kept in it." So, I go to Mail/General tab, uncheck the Mailbox box, and click OK. When I go back to that screen, the Mailbox box is still checked. I cannot seem to get the mailbox switched off.

I have tried logging in both with user name same as logging in to the control panel, and with user name as the full email address. Either one results in "Unknown or Disabled User!" I am not able to access the webmail interface, but I know I did this when it was first setup.

So, I deleted the email address, and set it up again with the same name, this time switching off the mailbox and setting up the forward at setup.
It appears to be setup correctly now, with zero usage.
